Another major scam has hit the PS Store, and it’s already confusing players because it’s a clone of a popular game. I’ve come across quite a few people asking whether “Wukong: Legacy Reborn” has something to do with Black Myth: Wukong or its DLC, and the answer is: neither.

A quick look at the PS Store page for Wukong: Legacy Reborn fooled me for a minute, too. The cover art is ripped straight from the Game Science original, and then the title suggests it’s somehow related to Black Myth.

I am, of course, able to tell that “Md Adnan Hossain” isn’t a legitimate developer or publisher, as it’s the “company” behind PS Store games like Sex Shop Simulator and Operation Sci-Fi: Hentai Girls. However, unsuspecting folks could easily be confused, as seen in this Facebook post.

The good news is, Wukong: Legacy Reborn is only available to wishlist right now, meaning “Md Adnan Hossain” has yet to con players out of their money. Don’t be fooled by its 2027 release window on the listing, though, because these scams get shadow-dropped and instantly start trending as they imitate popular games, as we have reported countless times before.

From what I can tell, Wukong: Legacy Reborn has been on the PS Store for at least a couple of weeks now. It remains to be seen when it’ll catch Sony’s attention.
