Dragon Ball remains a staple of any anime collection thanks to successor series like Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super, but if you have gaps in your shelf, then you’re in luck, as dozens of Dragon Ball Blu-rays and DVDs are on sale during Amazon’s Big Deals Days event. From October 7 through 8, you’ll find discounts on most of the Dragon Ball library, including full seasons of Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, and Dragon Ball Super, as well as numerous theatrical films. The first two seasons aren’t on sale, but you can get seasons three and four of the original Dragon Ball anime series. Long before he switching hair colors and powering up, a young Goku was jetting around the world and growing as a fighter. Dragon Ball: Season Three sees Goku prepare for a brutal rematch with Mercenary Tao and the rest of the Red Ribbon Army, while Dragon Ball: Season Four introduces the evil King Piccolo and sees Goku travel to Korin Tower to increase his power.
These box sets feature digitally remastered Dragon Ball episodes, the English dub, original Japanese musical soundtrack, and clean credit sequences. The entire collection was remastered in 2014, and while there are some strange discrepancies with the HD process that do periodically crop up, this is an overall solid visual update to the series. You can get the entire nine-season run in one complete bundle, or you can pick up individual seasons on their own if you’d like to plug a gap in your collection.

Dragon Ball GT: The Complete Series

The successor to Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, was polarizing after it first aired, but in the years since then, the show has become a cult-classic with fans. A Blu-ray version of it doesn’t exist, but the DVD remaster is still a solid addition to the library, thanks to the high animation quality of this show. The box set contains all 64 episodes, chronicling Goku’s grand adventure to gather the Dragon Balls and save Earth from being destroyed.
Dragon Ball Super

Years later, Dragon Ball Super arrived to chart the next chapter of the franchise. The battles were bigger, new transformations were introduced, and Goku had his work cut out for him as he faced off against new and familiar foes. Once again, the special features here are minimal at best, but these movies do look sharp and colorful in native 1080p and 4K.
