Battlefield 6‘s release on October 10 is coming up soon, and ahead of that, developer Battlefield Studios has announced the game’s beefy day-one patch and teased naval warfare may be coming.
The game’s day-one patch will have more than 200 changes, including bug fixes, balance improvements, and polish. The developer will publish the full patch notes later, but for now, the company released highlights, including that player movement will feel “more responsive” and that recoil has been rebalanced. Additionally, maps have seen some tweaks for the Rush and Breakthrough modes to help them have “better balance.”
On top of all this, the Operation Firestorm map got some updates to improve performance, while Siege of Cairo’s spawn-killing and out-of-bounds exploits will be fixed with the day-one update.
