Netflix has announced its latest project, and it’s an unscripted competition TV show based on the popular Hasbro board game Clue.
In its announcement, Netflix said contestants will play roles like Colonel Mustard, Miss Scarlett, and Professor Plum as they face “physical and mental challenges.” Like the board game, the goal of the reality competition series is to collect clues and try to figure out who is behind a crime.

This is not the first adaptation of the board game, as writer John Landis wrote the 1985 movie Clue starring Tim Curry, Christopher Lloyd, Michael McKean, Martin Mull, Lesley Ann Warren, Madeline Kahn, and Eileen Brennan. The film only made $14 million at the box office but found more success on home video. The film had three different endings, and different theaters got different endings; the home video release included all three.
