Inspired by the Autobot leader’s iconic Generation One design, this remote control car converts from a truck to robot and back with the push of a button, and batteries are included. Robot mode captures the boxy appeal of Optimus from his early appearances and toys, while the vehicle mode is the spitting image of his transformation. Once transformed, Optimus can actually walk forward thanks to the motors in his legs, or drive forward in his truck form. The toy also includes lights and sound effects, with several soundbites sourced from the Transformers animated movie.
