When you’re shopping for the latest low-supply sets in the Pokémon TCG on Prime Day — including Mega Evolutions, Black Bolt, White Flare, and even the upcoming Phantasmal Flames — you need to make the most of Amazon’s latest deals and beyond.
To give you the very best in deals overall, we’ve not only checked all of Amazon to find you any bargain going in terms of market prices in the Pokemon Trading Card Game, but other marketplaces like Walmart, Best Buy, and TCGplayer, too.
While only one of those other stores has borne proper fruit, the deals we’ve had left — compared to market conditions — are plentiful enough to get you the most Pokémon cards with the least damage to your bank account.
Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution Booster Bundle
While not an initial Prime Day deal at first glance, the Pokémon TCG’s Mega Evolution is almost at its lowest-ever price on Amazon. Now at $59.95, that’s a far cry from the $80 peak it was at during the start of the month for this set of six booster packs — as shown on price tracker, CamelCamelCamel.
Even on TCGplayer, individual listings are still currently sitting at around that higher price point, despite their lower market price of around $53.
However, Walmart has it ever so slightly cheaper, undercutting Amazon for the Mega Evolutions Booster Bundle at $56.65. We expect this listing to go especially fast, though, so you should class Amazon as your backup if you don’t get there in time.
Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution Elite Trainer Box
The huge demand for Mega Evolution ETBs vs supply has seen prices go above $120 on Amazon, which makes Walmart selling the Mega Gardevoir version for $104.95 a solid Pokemon TCG by comparison.
The market price for this on TCGplayer currently sits at around $93, still making this slightly pricey, but with any listings at that level selling so quickly, Walmart’s is the best deal going for Mega Evolution Elite Trainer Boxes this Prime Day.
We also expect this to shift rather quickly, so act fast if you want one.
Pokémon TCG Scarlet & Violet Unova Poster Box
With this 18% discount on an Unova Poster Box containing two packs each of White Flare and Black Bolt; along with Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott promo cards; this is still a Pokémon TCG worth having this Prime Day, now at $32.99 from $39.99.
The included titular poster of Zekrom and Reshiram may not be the big selling point, but being able to pull one of the most popular cards in Black Bolt or the most in-demand chase cards in White Flare still makes this a worthwhile investment.
Pokémon TCG: Black Bolt Elite Trainer Box
Currently undercutting Amazon’s Black Bolt ETBs by around $6, this is another from Walmart we expect to sell out rather quickly before Prime Day comes to an end.
At $86.84, this puts it slightly below the market price on TCGplayer, where there are currently no listings available.
Pokémon TCG: White Flare Elite Trainer Box
Despite a slightly lower TCGplayer market value than Black Bolt, prices on White Flare ETBs have usually been higher, making this Prime Day price cut on Amazon a relief to see — dropping by 14% from $104.49 to $90.
While we have also seen a third-party seller at Walmart selling White Flare ETBs for $79.49, we’ve seen very mixed reviews, depending on what customers have bought. So, saving that extra $10.51 comes with some extra risk.
Pokémon TCG White Flare Booster Bundle
Offering six packs of White Flare for $10 less than Amazon, Walmart’s own $48.99 Prime Day deal on White Flare Booster bundles is yet another Pokémon TCG bargain we expect to sell out fast.
Pokémon TCG: Journey Together Booster Bundle
Journey Together packs at half-decent prices have been increasingly rare following the release of new sets, but 20% off Journey Together Booster Bundles at Amazon right now is for sure a Prime Day deal worth grabbing, if you’re short on any of its 10 most expensive cards to add to your binder.
Pokémon TCG: Prismatic Evolutions Booster Bundle
Prismatic Evolutions packs closer to market price have been even rarer than Journey Together, but Amazon cutting Booster Bundles to $62.29 for Prime Day is more than a welcome sight.
It still might be slightly above its value on TCGplayer, but if you want a chance at pulling that very expensive 161/131 Umbreon ex, this is the most cost-effective way to do it.
