Paradox Interactive and Haemimont Games announced that they are rereleasing their underrated PS4 city-builder survival game, Surviving Mars. Simply titled Surviving Mars: Relaunched, this new version adds some new bells and whistles and will launch for the PS5 later this year.
Surviving Mars: Relaunched release date revealed
Surviving Mars: Relaunched is a remaster of the 2018 Paradox Interactive and Haemimont city-builder survival game. It features enhanced graphics, reworked UI, and other gameplay features like Martian Assembly, which allows players to implement laws and policies in their Martian cities. It will also include every DLC ever released, including its three expansions, Green Planet, Below and Beyond (which is getting reworked), and Space Race.
There will also be an Ultimate Edition of Surviving Mars: Relaunched, which will include the Prime Mission Expansion Pass. This will add two new expansions, including Feeding the Future scheduled for Q2 2026, and Machine Utopia in Q4 2026. Surviving Mars: Relaunched will release for PS5 on November 10. The Standard Edition will cost $39.99, while the Ultimate Edition will cost $59.99. Owners of the original release will get a solid discount for purchasing the new version. Specifically, the Standard Edition will be available to original owners for $19.99 (50% off) and the Ultimate Edition will be $39.99 (30% off).
Surviving Mars: Relaunched is just one of many remasters that will launch for the PS5. Another remaster that recently received a release date was the Sacred 2 Remaster.
