PowerWash Simulator 2 – All Hidden Job Challenges And How To Complete Them

While PowerWash Simulator 2 may be a mostly breezy, relaxing game about cleaning things, that doesn’t mean it lacks some challenges for you to consider when starting some of its jobs. While these challenges don’t provide any in-game rewards, they’ll earn you trophies or achievements, giving you a little something extra to think about when tackling a new job. They’re mostly easy to accomplish, too, so they’ll never ask you to do anything too outrageous in this otherwise casual title.

If you want to earn every trophy or achievement in PowerWash Simulator 2, here are all of the job-specific hidden challenges and how to complete them.

Hit the Lights (Campfire)

“In the campsite job, clean the Lanterns first using only the red nozzle.”

You need to clean four lanterns using only the red nozzle on any washer. Equip the red nozzle, then find the four lanterns scattered around the campfire. One is directly ahead on the ground when you begin the job. There other three located in front of the shack by a chair, on the outer rim of the firepit, and beside the telescope on the right side of the shack.

Cosmic Ordering (Solar System)

“In the Solar System job, lcean the Sun, then all of the planets in order from the Sun.”

You have to clean the Sun, which is located in the center of the room, then clean every planet in order based on how far away it is from the Sun (both in real life and in the game).

The correct order is:

  • Mercury
  • Venus
  • Earth
  • Mars
  • Jupiter
  • Saturn
  • Uranus
  • Neptune

Be careful to avoid cleaning any nearby objects, such as the plaques in front of the planets. Additionally, while we cleaned the different cores of the Earth, we avoided cleaning any rings around planets. Just focus on the planets themselves, then return later to finish up the rings and such once you’ve obtained the trophy or achievement.

Spin Doctor (Fun House)

“In the Fun House job, cleaning a rotating floor disc with the surface cleaner.”

You’ll need to find any rotating floor disc inside the downstairs interior of the Fun House and clean it entirely using the surface cleaner, which can be purchased in the shop at any time.

The Fun House is the only job with two challenges to complete, so make sure you check out the other directly below.

Glissando! (Fun House)

“In the Fun House job, hit all the giant piano keys in order from low to high.”

You’ll need to hit every key from low to high on a large piano found upstairs in the Fun House. To access the piano quickly, head up the slides on the right side of the level, enter the door on the left, and follow it outside to the balcony. Start on the left side of the piano and spray in a perfectly straight line all the way across while hitting every key.

The Fun House is the only job with two challenges to complete, so make sure you check out the other directly above.

Doggy Bath (Dog Car)

“In the Dog Car job, have soap on every wash task at the same time.”

You need to get soap on every item on the Dog Car. Make sure you’ve purchased the soap attachment, then switch to it and spray the entire car down. You only need to get soap on every individual piece–you don’t necessarily need to coat them fully. Bop up and down as needed and keep circling the car until you get everything covered.

Squeaky Clean (Town Floats)

“In the Town Floats job, clean the mouse last.”

You need to save the large mouse on the back of the final float until last. Clean everything else in the level, then come back to the mouse to clean both of its ears, its body, and its tail.

Message Received (Car and Trailer)

“In the Car and Trailer job, clean the satellite dish first.”

You need to clean the satellite dish on the top of the trailer before cleaning anything else. Just spray it down well and wrap it up before you get started on any other items.

Hatching a Plan (Bandstand)

“In the Bandstand job, clean the hatch last.”

You need to carefully clean the entire level without cleaning the hatch, which is located on the ground in the center of the gazebo. You can accidentally wet the edges while washing the rest of the floor as long as you don’t finish it until everything else is clean.

Flying Start (Rock Climbing Park)

“In the Rock Climbing Park job, clean the Pterodactyl first.”

You need to clean the giant pterodactyl on the very top of the mountain before you wash anything else. Climb up the sides of the volcano and spray it down while avoiding the bar it’s standing on. When it’s clean, you can continue the job as normal.

Tea Time (Teapot Tea Room)

“In the Teapot Tea Room job, place a gnome on each seat.”

You need to place six gnomes on the six seats outside the teapot house. In our experience, the trophy didn’t pop until we had cleaned the seats, but your mileage may vary. We’d recommend going ahead and cleaning the whole seating area first just to be safe.

You’ll find the six gnomes scattered mostly in plain sight in the level, including two beside the flowerpots on either side of the house, one on top of the house, and three on the edges of the level. Pick them up and place them standing up on each of the seats.

Make It All Shine (Roller Disco)

“In the Roller Disco job, clean the glitterball first.”

You need to clean the disco ball on the ceiling before anything else. You’ll need a ladder to reach the upper part. Just be careful not to spray too much on anything else to avoid accidentally cleaning something.

Wise Decision (Shopping Mall)

“In the Shopping Mall job, clean the owl first.”

You need to clean the owl in the center of the mall before you wash anything else. You’ll need to clean its body and wings while avoiding other nearby items. A ladder or scissor lift can make this easier.

Floor is Lava (Stone Circle)

“In the Stone Circle job, stand on all of the pillars without touching the floor.”

You need to jump from pillar to pillar without touching the ground. You can do this by starting on the left or right on the shortest pillar, then run and jump to the next. Repeat the process, wrapping around in a half circle until you jump to the shortest pillar on the opposite side.

Drop the Ball (Gas Station)

“In the Gas Station job, roll the ball down the playground slide.”

You need to drop a soccer ball down a slide behind the gas station. You’ll find it sitting on some playground equipment, so just pick it up and place it at the very top of the slide so that it rolls down. It doesn’t have to be perfect to trigger completion–so long as it makes some decent contact with the slide.

Where’s Woolly? (Shooting Gallery)

“In the Shooting Gallery job, complete the Bigfoot target first.”

You need to clean the moving Bigfoot target on the interior of the shooting gallery before you clean anything else. This can be slightly tricky, as it’s moving fairly quickly, meaning you could accidentally clean something else if you’re not careful with your timing. Luckily, it’s a small target, so it only takes a moment to wash it on the front and back to finish this up.

Ticket to Ride (Mini Roller Coaster)

“In the Mini Roller Coaster job, ride the roller coaster for a full loop.”

There’s a roller coaster that can be ridden around a track (as per the job’s name), and you’ll need to ensure you’ve sat on the coaster for a full lap. Sit anywhere on the coaster, then look left and press the button that says “Start Croc Ride”. Wait until you reach the same spot again before getting off.

Door to Door (Motel)

“In the Motel job, clean all the room doors, door handles, and door numbers first.”

There are six room doors numbers–three on the bottom floor and three on the top floor–that must be cleaned before anything else. Clean the door, door handles, and numbers on each one while carefully avoiding cleaning any other objects around them. Be especially careful not to spray too much water on the floor mats outside of each door, as they can clean up pretty quickly if you accidentally get them too wet.

Front Row Seats (Theater)

“In the Theater job, clean the entire Front Seating Row first.”

You need to clean the whole front row of seats before cleaning anything else. You’ll need to be careful with this one to avoid accidentally cleaning the seats behind you. Start by cleaning every cushion and armrest, then squat down and do a few passes on the seat base to wrap it up. Lastly, clean the seat end letters on each side before circling behind the seats to clean the back frame.
