Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Has Already Made $45 Million In Advance Ticket Sales

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever opens in theaters this weekend, and it’s expected to be a massive success at the box office. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie has earned an estimated $45 million in advance box office ticket sales in the US alone, which is a strong start.

Wakanda Forever opened November 9 in some international theaters before it releases everywhere else on November 11 (it’s not coming to China or Russia, however). Box office estimates suggest the movie will earn at least $175 million in the US alone for its opening weekend, with some believing it could stretch as high as $200 million. For comparison, the original Black Panther from 2018 made $202 million in the US for its opening weekend.

Internationally, the movie is projected to bring in up to $195 million for its first weekend. If Wakanda Forever can reach the top end of its first-weekend box office projections domestically and internationally, it could star with nearly $400 million for its first weekend globally.
