During Super Bowl 57 on Sunday night, Lucasfilm debuted a new 30-second TV spot for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. The new clip is made up of footage from past trailers and some brand-new sequences, including the dramatic conclusion featuring the main characters jumping out of a plane.
“A legend will face his destiny,” reads the text from the trailer, in reference to Harrison Ford’s character, Indiana Jones. He’s joined by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who plays Indy’s goddaughter, Helena. John Rhys-Davies, who starred in the original Raiders of the Lost Ark, returns in the new film. The movie’s cast also includes Boyd Holbrook, Antonio Banderas, Shaunette Renee Wilson, Thomas Kretschmann, Oliver Richters, Ethann Isidore, and Mads Mikkelsen as the villain.
James Mangold (Logan, Walk the Line) directs The Dial of Destiny, which releases on June 30. Steven Spielberg, who directed the four previous Indiana Jones movies, is an executive producer alongside series creator George Lucas. John Williams is once again composing the score. He’s composed the music for every Indiana Jones film dating back to the first one in 1981.
