It’s not uncommon for certain weapons to be fashionable in PvP, but The Immortal is one gun that has the potential to roll with some of the best perks in the game.
The god roll version of The Immortal is one that includes Target Lock, a perk that increases damage the longer you have your weapon trained on an enemy. Throw in other perks such as Ricochet Rounds and Rangefinder to increase optimal range without worrying about damage fall-off, and this SMG becomes an absolute beast in PvP. So what makes Target Lock such a desired perk in particular?
As YouTuber Fallout Plays noted, Target Lock doesn’t increase your optimal time-to-kill numbers, but the perk does help you reach that threshold more quickly and is very forgiving should you miss any shots.
