Amnesia: The Bunker has been delayed yet again, this time to June 6. This comes by way of a short, two-minute video from Frictional Games Creative Lead Fredrik Olsson, who explained the delay is to address crashes.

“We’re going through the certification process,” Olsson said, “and we’ve encountered multiple rare crashes that are very difficult to identify, reproduce, and thereby also fix, and we simply can’t make it in time.”

Olsson then explained that the studio could have asked its employees to work weekends or nights to speed up the development process. “That’s simply not something we do here at Frictional,” Olsson said. During the short video, Olsson also noted that everything is coming together nicely and that the team is excited to finally ship the game.
