The Super Mario Bros. Movie continues to make money at the box office, and now it’s passed a popular Disney movie to climb even higher up the charts for animated movies.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie has earned $1.288 billion globally, which means it has now climbed past 2013’s Frozen ($1.284 billion) to rank No. 3 all time on the animated charts, according to Variety. The movie now trails only Frozen II ($1.45 billion) and The Lion King’s remake ($1.66 billion) on the charts for highest-grossing animated movies of all time.
