Cooler Master’s New Gaming PC Is A $3,800 Shoe That You Can’t Even Wear

Gaming PCs have become works of technological art, but when it comes to unique designs, this new model from Cooler Master is a shoe-in for the most unique PC of the year. The Cooler Master Sneaker X is pure sneakerhead bait, a system that resembles a Gundam boot and is available in several configurations.

Originally a modified PC built by JMDF (via PC Gamer and Videocardz), the case would go on to win the best art direction award at the Case Mod World Series in 2020. Cooler Master took a fancy to the design, greenlit mass production of it, and a few years later, the final model has arrived.

Right now, you can get Sneaker X PC that’s equipped with a Core i7 13700K, an Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti GPU, Z790 motherboard, 32GB of DDR5 memory, and a 2TB SSD if you’re prepared to spend $3,799 on one of these high-tech shoes. Alternatively, the “Enthusiast” version has similar specs and will cost you only $3,499. The versions sold outside of the US in the UK, Germany, France, and The Netherlands generally have different hardware inside of them, but on average, these are pretty solid–but expensive for the hardware you’re getting–gaming PCs.
