If you’re a PC gamer, one of the best ongoing promotions can be found at the Epic Games Store. We’re approaching five years since the Epic Games Store launched, and the retailer has been giving away free games ever since. Every Thursday at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET, Epic offers at least one free PC game (sometimes two or three, though!). All you need to do to claim the free games is create a free Epic account and enable two-factor authentication to start snagging freebies. You have a week to add the freebies to your library before the new one(s) take their place. At this point, Epic has given away hundreds of free games, and there’s no sign that the program will stop any time soon. From now until November 2 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET, you can claim The Evil Within 2 and Tandem: A Tale of Shadows. The Evil Within–last week’s freebie–is good, but its sequel is downright fantastic. Combine the gripping tale with refined gameplay and an even more foreboding and weirdatmosphere, and you have yourself on modern survival horror gem.
