Old John Tolkien was never one to look to the future so he’d no doubt be surprised at the sheer juggernaut his mythological creation has become. Since the arrival of Peter Jackson’s film trilogy, The Lord of The Rings has taken over the world and while there have been entries with varying degrees of success there are a few adaptations that have hit the ball out of the park.
