After being out of print for several years, Titan Comics has announced that it’ll be reprinting the Dead Space graphic novels. Based on EA’s survival-horror games, these graphic novels–Dead Space, Dead Space: Liberation, and Dead Space: Salvage–were originally released between 2008-2013 and published by IDW and Titan Comics at the time. The first one was written by Antony Johnston (Stormbreaker) and illustrated by art legend Ben Templesmith (30 Days of Night), who helped capture the terror of the game with his unnerving art. Set in the 26th century, the Dead Space games focused on starship engineer Isaac Clarke as he battled undead horrors, cosmic forces, and the fanatical Unitology cult. The graphic novels fleshed out the Dead Space universe with new characters and storylines, and the first volume will be released on March 11, 2025, and priced at $18.
This story follows P-SEC Sergeant Abraham Neumann after he encounters a reanimated corpse and has to fight off waves of them in his efforts to survive. “After the discovery of an alien artifact prompts mysterious incidents to occur, the colony is shaken through psychological and vicious threats that break down their security,” the official synopsis reads. “With the Church of Unitology slowly moving to awaken the marker and push humanity to extinction, the onslaught grows as a gruesome undertaking takes place.”
