The Citadelle des Morts Zombies map arrives with the big update. This brand-new map takes place in a castle in France. Fitting of the castle setting, the unique Wonder Weapons for the map are four elemental swords. The map also launches with the Vulture Aid Perk-a-Cola, the Tesla Storm field upgrade, the Light Mend ammo mod, and 18 more Augments to unlock.
The Wonder Weapon is a claymore known as “The Bastard Sword,” and this blade can be forged into four elemental types. Each has a unique special attack, as well as a passive effect that is powered up over time.
- Caliburn: Dragon’s Fire – Create a fiery maelstrom of burning undead flesh, setting zombies alight and summoning an immense fireball.
- Durendal: Stag of the Storms – Summon thunderous power from the skies, discharging voltaic power to stun and stagger, before an electrical beam serves up a severe searing.
- Balmung: Raven’s Shadow – Cast your rotting foes into the Aetherial abyss, warping nearby enemies with a focused liminal tear.
- Solais: Lion of Light – The warmth of Light courses through you as you send foes screaming into darkness.
The Vulture Aid perk returns from Black Ops 2’s Zombies mode. This perk allows players to gain an increase in the variety of loot dropped from enemies. It can be made even more useful with the season’s new Augments.
This perk machine can be found on the Citadelle des Morts map, but it can also be equipped on Liberty Falls and Terminus by purchasing it from the Der Wunderfizz machine.
The new Light Mend ammo mod deals elemental light damage. Each bullet has a chance to transform a normal or special enemy’s health into a healing glyph that moves to nearby injured allies. It can also be upgraded to be more powerful with the addition of Augments.
This Ammo Mod can be used in all three Zombies maps by purchasing it at any Arsenal machine.
The Tesla Storm field upgrade returns. For 10 seconds, this field upgrade will connect lightning to other players, stunning and damaging normal enemies.
Tesla Storm can be upgraded with Augments, and it can also be used in a player’s loadout for all three Zombies maps.
