Apple is raising the price of its services, and this includes Apple TV Plus. The streaming platform that hosts shows like Severance and Ted Lasso will cost $7/month going forward, up from $5/month.
Apple Music will see its price increased $1 to $11/month, while Apple One–the bundle that includes Apple TV Plus, Apple Music, Apple Arcade, and more–will cost $16.95/month, which is up from $14.95/month. Presumably, these price changes will go into effect during the next billing cycle.
A spokesperson for Apple told CNET that Apple TV Plus is getting more expensive because, while it started with “just a few shows and movies,” the catalog has grown since and carries additional costs. Apple Music is getting more expensive due to increased licensing and fees for artists, the spokesperson said.
