2K Sports has announced the full roster for WWE 2K24 today, with over 200 wrestlers from the company’s past and present included in the base game. Two names that are not on the list, however, are Vince McMahon and Brock Lesnar.
Vince McMahon’s omission from the game comes in the wake of a recent lawsuit filed by a former employee of WWE, which alleges multiple instances of sexual assault and trafficking to other employees at the company and led to McMahon’s resignation from WWE parent company TKO. This was not McMahon’s first time leaving the company; he had resigned in July 2022 after reports of similar alleged behavior emerged, though he returned just before the sale of WWE to Endeavor and the creation of TKO.
One of those referenced in the lawsuit is believed to be Brock Lesnar, which may explain why both men are now left off of the video game’s roster. Lesnar was removed from the cover art of the 40 Years Of Wrestlemania premium edition of the game, and it remains to be seen if any of his Wrestlemania appearances–including his famous streak-breaking victory over The Undertaker–will appear in the game’s Showcase mode.
