Crusader Kings 3’s major expansion All Under Heaven released last week. It was generally well-received, adding China, Japan, and Southeast Asian cultures to the hit medieval sim. Launching with ‘mostly positive’ Steam reviews, however, pits it a little below the score achieved by the base game. I get it, it’s difficult to live up to the standards set by one of the best strategy games ever made, which has received five years of incremental updates and DLC. However, developer Paradox isn’t resting on its laurels, and has already detailed numerous changes it’s making to the game in the form of hotfixes, balance patches, and a forthcoming major update.
