Cult of the Lamb is getting a large, paid expansion in 2026, with the debut trailer revealed at Gamescom ONL. Titled Woolhaven, this latest update to the Devolver-published hit looks to be adding an entirely new biome for you to cultivate more followers in.

The trailer captures what makes Cult of the Lamb so captivating, with a distinct mixture of gore and humor that translates over to its eye-catching 2D gameplay. The roguelite/management game looks to be introducing various new elements into the mix, with some new mounts, snowy environments, and gruesome bosses all showcased in the brief gameplay snippet.

Released in 2022, Cult of the Lamb has had an enduring impact thanks to regular content updates and clever crossovers, but Woolhaven looks to be the game’s largest update since launch. Expect more details to be revealed ahead of the expansions launch in early 2026.
