Dragon Ball Daima’s SS4 Goku Is Coming To Dragon Ball FighterZ

Dragon Ball FighterZ is getting its first dose of Dragon Ball Daima with the upcoming addition of that anime’s take on Super Saiyan 4 Goku. The news was announced during Evo France.

This isn’t the first appearance of the Super Saiyan 4 transformation in Dragon Ball FighterZ – SS4 Gogeta from Dragon Ball GT was a previous DLC fighter. But this is the first appearance of SS4 Goku in the game, albeit the new version introduced in Dragon Ball Daima, the current and ongoing Dragon Ball anime. A teaser trailer doesn’t reveal any gameplay or additional information besides a spring 2026 release window for the character.

For those counting, this addition will bring the number of playable Gokus in Dragon Ball FighterZ to five, following Goku (Super Saiyan), Goku (Super Saiyan Blue), Goku (base), and Goku (Ultra Instinct). No, Goku Black does not count. We don’t make the rules.

Bandai Namco also released a new balancing update for Dragon Ball FighterZ yesterday. You can read the official patch notes for the full list of tweaks.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. You can read our review of the launch version here
