We have yet to see the official list of games leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium in September 2025, but it’s that time of the month where we share predictions for upcoming departures based on established patterns. Subscribers are reminded that these predictions have a very high degree of accuracy as they are not random guesses, so you might want to keep an eye on beloved day-one game, The Plucky Squire, among others.
Games expected to leave PS Plus Extra and Premium in September 2025
As pointed out by Reddit user Negan-Cliffhanger, The Plucky Squire was among the list of games that were added to the service in September 2024. Sony tends to have 1-2 year deals for games in the catalog, so players might want to keep an eye on it alongside the following.
Games that were added in September 2024 include Chernobylite, Night in the Woods, Road 96, and Doom I + Doom II Enhanced. Bethesda games tend to leave and re-enter PS Plus quite a bit, so we wouldn’t be too worried about Doom.
Far Cry 5 was also added to the service a year ago, but Ubisoft games tend to stick around a bit.
As for games that were added 24 months ago, players should prioritize This War of Mine, Call of the Sea, Odin Sphere Leifthrasir, Dragon’s Crown Pro, and Contra: Rogue Corps.
