First launched in 2023, Everspace 2 is precisely what I want from a space game. In the likes of Starfield and No Man’s Sky, getting into ship combat feels like a frustrating distraction from the rest of the game. In Everspace 2, it’s precisely why I’m there – Rockfish Games mixes exciting, dynamic action and exploration with ample loot to help put together that perfect build in true Diablo fashion. The interstellar RPG has continued to evolve since launch, and is about to get a lot bigger with the addition of its next expansion.
