The Defenders Saga–which includes original Netflix shows like Daredevil and Jessica Jones–is now apparently an official part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe canon. Disney+ has updated the MCU timeline order and inserted these TV shows into the fold.
For example, Daredevil and Jessica Jones are slotted before Avengers: Age of Ultron, as spotted by X (formerly known as Twitter) user CanWeGetSomeToast. Meanwhile, Luke Cage, Iron First, and Defenders happened right before Captain America: Civil War. Then The Punisher takes place between Black Panther and Doctor Strange.

These Netflix Marvel shows arrived on Disney+ back in March 2022. Originally, they premiered on Netflix, starting off with Daredevil in 2015. Jessica Jones Season 3 was the end of the Defenders Saga after it launched in June 2019.
