As August approaches, Max has unveiled its lineup of TV shows and movies coming to the platform in the upcoming month. Starting from the beginning of August, viewers can look forward to many new and classic titles, all scheduled to premiere throughout the month.
Coming August 1, get ready to stream the action-packed animated Mortal Kombat Legends sequel, Battle of The Realms. Lord Raiden seeks to end the tournaments’ bloodshed once and for all, leading to one final Mortal Kombat tournament that will determine the future of all realms. This direct-to-video 2021 release features much of the original cast returning: Joel McHale as Johnny Cage, Jennifer Carpenter as Sonya Blade, Jordan Rodrigues as Liu Kang, and Patrick Seitz as Scorpion, just to name a few. Newcomers here include Bayardo De Murguia as Sub-Zero, alongside new characters like Kung Lao, Jade, and D’Vorah. Franchise co-creator Ed Boon serves as a consultant.
Also on August 1, Max has much of the entire Nightmare on Elm Street franchise coming to the platform.
