New On Prime Video In October 2023: Renfield, Studio 666, Upload Season 3

As the leaves begin to change and October (somehow) quickly approaches, Prime Video has unveiled its lineup of TV shows and movies set to arrive on the platform during the upcoming month. From the start of October, viewers can anticipate a lineup of entertaining titles throughout the month.

To be sure, there’s no shortage of spooky content next month on Prime Video, but a few standouts include Renfield (October 9) and Studio 666 (October 25). Renfield is a modern monster tale about Dracula’s loyal servant starring Nicholas Hoult (The Great) in the title role as the loyal but tormented aide to the world’s most narcissistic employer, Dracula (Nicolas Cage)–it’s a horror movie that casts toxic bosses as the true monsters. Studio 666 is rock group Foo Fighters’ horror-comedy movie, a semi-Scooby Doo caper about recording an album in a haunted Encino mansion.

For something completely different, you can catch Season 3 of Upload starting October 20. The show is a comedy from The Office creator Greg Daniels and is set in a future that feels more and more plausible with every passing day–when you’re about to die, you have the option of having your consciousness “uploaded” into a digital world that is, on the surface, fantastic. Only, it turns out, the reality is anything but idyllic.
