While Palworld still reigns supreme, another contender to the Steam survival game throne, Enshrouded, is making quite a name for itself in the few days following its early access release.
According to SteamDB, the open-world survival game with more of an action-RPG bent is off to a strong start, having reached more than 160,000 concurrent players in recent days following its January 24 launch. In a statement, Enshrouded developer Keen Games revealed the game has attracted over a million players so far. It’s also the second-best-selling game on Steam right now by revenue behind only Palworld.
“We are completely blown away by its success and the overwhelmingly positive reception,” Keen Games writes in a statement. “From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank all our players. We’re excited to let you know this is just the beginning for Enshrouded.”
