PS5 Getting Surprise Release of Acclaimed 2017 Adventure RPG

PS5 adventure RPG Finding Paradise

A critically acclaimed 2017 adventure RPG is finally making its way to the PS5, and we can’t recommend this one enough. Finding Paradise, whose only console port thus far landed on the Nintendo Switch in 2022, is a sequel to To the Moon. To the Moon was ported to PS5 last October.

Adventure RPG Finding Paradise out on PS5 in October 2025

In case you’re not familiar with this series, it’s a widely praised emotional adventure crafted by Canadian developer Kan Gao using the RPG Maker XP game engine. To the Moon and Finding Paradise are the only two games in the series to receive a PlayStation port.

The story revolves around two doctors trying to fulfill a dying old man’s wish.

“Finding Paradise follows the life of the doctors’ new patient, Colin, as they attempt to unravel a life that is split down the middle, and fulfill a wish that appears to be self-contradictory by nature,” reads an official overview.

PS5 players can expect the following features:

  • True 16:9 presentation.
  • Support for 4K resolutions and up to 120 Hz frame rates with crisp upscaling of the original’s pixel art.
  • A bunch of new achievements have been added.
  • PS5 DualSense haptics support.
  • Inclusion of higher-quality background music audio (for most tracks).
  • Can now change languages at will instead of only from the title screen.
