
Sony has been hard at work when it comes to cracking down on the use of PS5 browser, but as always, players are a step ahead. Last December, the company plugged at least two popular loopholes that we were aware of, but players are determined to find a way.

We want to warn players that breaking Sony’s terms of service can result in a permanent PSN account ban. The company doesn’t want anyone accessing the PS5 browser because doing so will inevitably lead to the console being jailbroken.
With that said, players were previously messaging each other random, clickable links that they could open on the console just to access the browser. Now, PS5 users automatically get a warning from Sony, with the threat of a PSN ban.
Over on Reddit, a user has published two new “tutorials” for accessing the PS5 browser that we previously didn’t know worked. Again, we want to warn players against violating terms of service, but can’t help but be impressed by the level of determination here.
One method involves getting into the PS5’s settings:
The other requires using video game menus. In this particular example, the player is using Minecraft:
We’re guessing it won’t be long before Sony catches on.
