Namco has created some of the most iconic and influential games in video game history, and many of them get ported to modern consoles to this day. This particular release is a bit different, however, as several games from Namco will get their own Atari 50 DLC.
What is The Namco Legendary Pack DLC for Atari 50?
The Namco Legendary Pack Atari 50 DLC adds a handful of classic Namco games that were playable on various Atari consoles. While there are technically only five games being added, each game has several versions. The games include Pac-Man, Dig Dug, Galaga, Galaxian, and Xevious.
The games will be added to the Atari 50 interactive timeline, and include developer interviews, archival documents, photos from the era, and more.

The Namco Legendary Pack Atari 50 DLC will launch on November 13 for PS5, PS3, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC for $7.99.
When Atari 50 was first released in 2022, it was well-received. According to the review aggregate site Metacritic, it garnered an average score of 89 across 18 critic reviews for the Nintendo Switch version. At our sister site ComingSoon, it received a 9.5 out of 10.
“While it doesn’t feature an absolute treasure trove of design docs and concept art (although there is plenty), its overall museum-like presentation and incredibly well-produced videos make it a joy for any gaming historian or anyone that has fond memories of Atari,” reads the review. “This is the closest that gaming has ever been to having a Criterion Collection-type release and is a blueprint that does the pioneering company justice.”
