Fans of the Apple TV+ series Ted Lasso may be feeling like they fell out of the lucky tree and hit every branch on the way down, as EA Sports has confirmed that both the titular coach and his fictional AFC Richmond squad will join the list of playable teams in FIFA 23.
AFC Richmond will be available to FIFA 23 players as a member of the “Rest of The World” section of team selection. Richmond will be playable in standard matches, online friendlies, and online seasons.
The team will also be included in FUT through manager items for both Ted Lasso and Coach Beard, AFC Richmond uniforms, and more. The roster will include notable characters such as Roy Kent, Sam Obisanya, Dani Rojas, and Jamie Tartt. The team’s home stadium, Nelson Road, will also be available.
