Preorders for The Last of Us Season 1’s Limited-Edition 4K Steelbook are discounted to $39.42 (was $50) at Amazon and Walmart. The $10-plus discount is the best yet for either retailer in the weeks since the collectible edition was unveiled. The new 4K Blu-ray edition of the first season of the heralded adaptation arrives March 18, just weeks prior to Season 2’s April premiere on HBO.

This four-disc set lets you relive Joel and Ellie’s journey across the post-apocalyptic version of the US in 4K resolution. The collectible steelbook case, shown above, looks awesome. On the discs, you’ll find over two hours of special features.
Amazon initially sold out of the Limited Edition Steelbook at $50, but it’s available to preorder again for $39.42 (as of January 29). If you already ordered at a higher price, Amazon will automatically adjust your preorder to reflect the lowest price offered until release. Walmart is also taking preorders for the same price and offers the same guarantee.
Gruv was taking preorders for $35, but the retailer quickly sold out.
