The Legend Of Zelda Collector’s Chess Set Is Back In Stock

Earlier this week, a new Zelda-themed chess set was briefly available to purchase at Amazon and Big Bad Toy Store. Unsurprisingly, both retailers sold out of the officially licensed game fast. If you’re interested in owning a chess set with figurines based on Hyrule’s biggest heroes and villains, you have another chance right now. As of June 6, The Legend of Zelda Collector’s Edition Chess Set is available to purchase for $45 on the manufacturer’s site (The Op Games). We have yet to see this new collectible board game listed at any other major retailers, so Zelda fans may want to grab the set soon.

The Op Games has also made various editions of The Legend of Zelda Monopoly over the years. Unfortunately, much like the original Zelda chess set, The Legend of Zelda Monopoly is out of print and tends to sell for high prices. At the moment, Monopoly: The Legend of Zelda Collector’s Edition is listed for $110 at Amazon via Toynk Toys (fulfilled by Amazon). The game pieces in this version are all based on iconic weapons and symbols, like Link’s shield, the Ocarina of Time, and the Triforce.
