The recently released Special Edition of The Shining on 4K Blu-ray is discounted to $68 at Amazon. Part of The Film Vault Wave 3, the Special Edition comes with a steelbook case, cigar box with acetate slipcover, two posters, five character cards, three behind-the-scenes art cards, and a holographic sticker numbered to 6,000. The Shining Special Edition was originally priced at $100 at Walmart ahead of its October 1 release, and Amazon has typically sold it for around $87. The Shining’s Film Vault release is also available in a Solus Steelbook Edition without all of the extras for $49.
The Shining’s Film Vault collectible editions were manufactured in the UK and come with region-free 4K Blu-ray and 1080p Blu-ray discs. Even though you’re ordering from Amazon’s US storefront, both editions are sold by Amazon Global Store UK with free shipping to the US.
