Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves has landed on Paramount+. The fantasy action film–starring Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, and RegĂ©-Jean Page–debuted in theaters March 31, meaning it hit streaming after a 45-day window.
The Paramount+ Twitter account teased the movie’s arrival yesterday with “Let the campaign commence.” Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves has a positive 72 metascore based on 57 reviews on GameSpot sister site Metacritic.
In March, directors Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley talked to GameSpot about the difficulties of explaining D&D to viewers with no background in the tabletop game. “The bigger challenge was to give something to the people who have absolutely nothing to do with Dungeons & Dragons–or know nothing about it–a movie that they will also enjoy. And what I would say is, you know, we were very authentic,” Daly said at the time.
