We’re deep into the season of summer gaming showcases, and up next to bat is Ubisoft. In the latter half of 2024, Ubisoft has some big games coming out soon, and its Ubisoft Forward showcase will see more details about these titles revealed. We’ll be covering the livestream, so you can periodically refresh this page for updates on all the new announcements from Ubisoft.
The games that we do know will make an appearance include Star Wars Outlaws and Assassin’s Creed Shadows, two open-world experiences to look forward to.
We already got an early look at Assassin’s Creed Shadows in action during the Xbox Games Showcase, and with this livestream, we’re hoping to see more of the game’s systems shown off before we dive into an animus for a tour of feudal Japan. Star Wars Outlaws is still scheduled to launch on August 30, and while we’ve seen plenty of gameplay for this sci-fi adventure, more Star Wars is never a bad thing.
Ubisoft also has several live-service games, so we’re expecting to see what’s next for titles like Skull and Bones, Rainbow Six Siege, XDefiant, and For Honor. After getting two fun Prince of Persia games this year, we’re not betting on the Sands of Time remake to make an appearance, but it would be nice to get an update on it! Then there are other games in development, like the Splinter Cell remake and The Division 3, and other rumored titles like a new Far Cry.

Star Wars Outlaws
Ubisoft Forward kicked off with a fresh look at Star Wars Outlaws, and how the game’s protagonist can improve her skills by hunting down experts to teach her new tricks. Beyond that, the gameplay video also showed off some outer space dogfights, as Kay’s ship the Trailblazer took on several Junkros fighters in an intense battle above Tattooine, and more details on managing your reputation amongst the major forces of the underworld.

XDefiant
Big updates are on the way for XDefiant when it starts its first season in July. Players can expect a steady supply of maps, weapons, a new Capture the Flag mode, and a new faction in the form of GSK from Team Rainbow when the new season drops on July 2.
