The Spicy Pepper is probably one of the most important items in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. A single one of these can spell the difference between survival or death in certain areas of the game. Here’s our guide to help you farm more Spicy Peppers in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
How to farm Spicy Peppers in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Spicy Pepper item has one particular use: you’ll gain warmth and, essentially, resistance to the harsh cold temperatures. You’ll learn about this mechanic soon enough while exploring the Great Sky Island starting area. There are snow-capped sections leading to Gutanbac Shrine where the temperature would drop, causing Link to shiver. Then, in just a few seconds, his health would slowly get depleted.
There are, however, a few downsides. First, you’ll only find a few of these plants as you’re roaming around. Then, much later, you’ll head to regions with freezing temperatures (i.e. the entirety of Hebra and some portions of Gerudo). It can lead to a situation where you need cold resistance food, but you forgot where all those Spicy Peppers were.
