Sony recently expanded its PS Store Summer Sale, bringing even more discounts to some of the best PS4 and PS5 games available digitally. That includes this 2015 PS4 action-adventure game that is based on a critically acclaimed film series.

Mad Max is $4.99 on the PS Store

Developed by Avalanche Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Mad Max is currently $4.99 on the PS Store. This is a 75% discount off its normal $19.99 price tag. PS4 and PS5 players who want to take advantage of this deal will want to act fast. The offer ends on August 14 at 2:59 a.m. ET.

“Become Mad Max, the lone warrior in a savage post-apocalyptic world where cars are the key to survival,” reads the game’s description. “In this action-packed, open world, third person action game, you must fight to stay alive in The Wasteland, using brutal on-ground and vehicular against vicious gangs of bandits. When Mad Max was released for the PS4 back in 2015, it was met with middling reception. According to the review aggregate site Metacritic, it was given an average score of 69 across 71 critic reviews. In our review, we gave the game an 8 out of 10.

“That being said, I did enjoy my time with Mad Max. It has fun melee and vehicle combat mechanics, and it has an engaging upgrade and customization system in place. While things did begin to feel old after a while, players can still get many, many hours out of the game before that happens,” reads our review.
