PS5 Pro players will be delighted to note that Battlefield 6 is PS5 Pro enhanced, and comes with the best frame rate offering on consoles. Back in May, it was reported that EA planned to offer 120 FPS support for PS5 Pro, and with non-disclosure agreements now over, Battlefield Labs participants have confirmed the news.

Although EA has confirmed that Battlefield 6 will be PS5 Pro enhanced, DICE has yet to detail what those enhancements entail. “There will be visual performance enhancements for the PlayStation 5 Pro version of the game,” reads a brief note on the game’s official FAQ.

But playtesters are now sharing their experience with the Battlefield Labs playable version, revealing that the Performance Mode can go up to 120 FPS on the Pro.

“I played always in Performance Mode. FPS ranged from 90-120 FPS (Measured with FPS overlay on LG G4),” a playtester wrote on Reddit. Do bear in mind that this isn’t the final build of Battlefield 6, and we expect a stable 120 FPS when the game releases.

As for the base PS5, playtesters say that Battlefield 6 performs well and supports 60 FPS in Fidelity Mode. In Performance Mode, the frame rate goes well over 80 FPS.
