The free trial edition is now live on the PS Store, but bear in mind that the game is currently part of PS Plus Extra, so this offer is geared towards PS Plus Essential users and non-subscribers.
Should players end up buying The Elder Scrolls Online, their progress will carry over. The good news is that the base game is 75% off once again in the current PS Store sale, going for just $4.99 on both the PS5 and PS4. The offer ends next week on August 14.
Some of The Elder Scrolls Online’s add-ons are also discounted on the PS Store until then, including virtual currency and the 2025 Content Pass.
Unfortunately, the ESO Plus membership is not on sale at the moment, but players don’t need to subscribe to enjoy the game. ESO Plus is an optional subscription that comes with various benefits, including instant access to all DLC packs.
