The PS Store always has some great PS4 and PS5 games on sale, thanks to its ongoing sales promotions. That includes this action game that had gamers talking when it launched in 2022, thanks to its stylish arcade action.

Rollerdrome is less than $10 on the PS Store

Developed by Roll7, Rollerdrome is currently $7.49 on the PS Store. That is 75% off its usual $29.99 price tag. Players who want to check out the PS4/PS5 action game will want to act quickly if they’re going to take advantage of this deal. The offer ends on August 14 at 2:59 a.m. ET.

“The year is 2030. In a world where corporations rule and the lines between reality and performance are blurred, the public are kept distracted by the violence and excess of a brutal new blood sport — Rollerdrome,” reads the game’s PS Store description. “Will you have what it takes to become the Rollerdrome champion and unravel the mysteries behind the Matterhorn corporation’s true intentions?”

When Rollerdrome launched for the PS4 and PS5 back in 2022, it was well-received. According to the review aggregate site Metacritic, it garnered an average score of 79 across 49 critic reviews. Our sister site ComingSoon.net reviewed the game, and gave it a 7.5 out of 10.

“Rollerdrome doesn’t completely nail every trick, but it’s still a smooth shooter with more style than most other entries in the genre,” reads the review. “Spinning off ramps while nailing shots in slow motion and racking up the multiplier is a thrilling and cohesively designed loop that gets better as muscle memory kicks in and soothes the player into a meditative state.”

During the 2022 award season, it received a couple of nominations, one of which it won. At the 2022 Golden Joystick Awards, Rollerdrome was nominated for Best Indie Game. At the 2023 BAFTA Video Game Awards, it was nominated and won the award for best British game.
