Developer GSC Game World revealed its latest game, Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, is finally coming to PS5. A new trailer gives PlayStation players a look at the game and its imminent release date.
When is the Stalker 2 PS5 release date?
Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl will release for PS5 on November 20 this year, exactly a month after its initial release on PC and Xbox Series X|S. PS5 Pro players get to enjoy console-specific enhancements that improve visuals in various ways. Anyone interested can check out the new trailer below.
The “fully optimized” PS5 version of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl does have several features specific to the platform, all of which PlayStation players have come to expect. This includes adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, gyro aiming, and Tempest 3D audio, as well as speakers, lightbar, and touchpad gesture utilization. More importantly, it will have trophies.

PS5 players can preorder Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl right now on the PS Store, with the base version costing $59.99. The Deluxe Edition, which costs $79.99, includes the base game, Deluxe Weapons & Suit Pack, Bonus Side Quest, and Artbook and Soundtrack app. The Ultimate Edition, which costs $109.99, includes everything from the Deluxe Edition, as well as the Ultimate Weapons & Suit Pack and the Season Pass.
When Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl was released last year, it received some middling reviews. According to the review aggregate website Metacritic, it received an average score of 73 across 71 critic reviews.
