Fox Hunt finally comes to Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater
As part of the new Ver. 1.2.1 update for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, the previously announced Fox Hunt mode has arrived. This new multiplayer mode pits up to 12 players against each other as they utilize various camouflage to take each other out.
Below is a trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater’s Fox Hunt multiplayer mode, as well as a brief description of the mode:
“‘FOX HUNT’ deploys up to 12 players into the iconic jungle for a tactical ‘hide-and-seek’ experience. As aspiring members of the covert unit ‘FOX’, players will utilize stealth and survival elements in two distinct game modes: ‘Survival Capture,’ a tense hunt for elusive Kerotan frogs, and ‘Survival Intrude,’ a covert mission in shrinking zones where positioning is vital.”
Along with the Fox Hunt mode, PS5 players receive some new features with the update. PS5 Pro players are now able to choose their preferred rendering mode, and an option to fix camera distance settings when playing in New Style has been added. Additionally, several bug fixes were implemented, which are listed below:
- Improved overall performance stability.
- Resolved an issue where background music would not play during certain cutscenes.
- Fixed a timing mismatch between user actions and background music ending.
- Corrected an issue that occasionally prevented specific actions by Raikov from triggering.
- Implemented minor bug fixes and general adjustments.
