Pokemon Legends: Arceus Ultimate Gallade Guide

Making the phrase “Gotta catch ’em all,” an iconic catchphrase from the franchise, a reality, is one of Pokemon Legends: Arceus’ goals.  The player enlists in the Survey Corps, whose mission is to learn everything there is to know about the Pokemon living in the historic Hisui region. The legendary Pokemon Arceus will also task the player with meeting each Pokemon in the area.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus Ultimate Gallade Guide

This Gallade Pokemon Legends: Arceus guide will teach you everything you need to know about the Pokemon!

Gallade

Gallade, the 104th Pokemon in the Hisuian Pokedex, is a Psychic and Fighting-type Blade Pokemon that has a thin, green torso, a pair of eyes with red irises and black pupils, red horns sticking out of its chest and back, round hips, a pair of green arms with blades for hands, strong, white legs, a green head that resembles a gladiator helmet, and a teal head crest.

According to its Pokedex entry in the game, Gallade has elbow-mounted blades that are sharper than the finest swords.

Basic Information

Gallade is a Psychic and Fairy-type Pokemon, so it is weak (super effective) to Fairy-type, Flying-type, and Ghost-type moves and resistant (not very effective) to Psychic and Rock-type moves.

Gallade’s base stats are 68 HP, 125 Attack, 65 Defense, 65 Special Attack, 115 Special Defense, and 80 Speed for a total of 518.

Gallade can be evolved from a male Kirlia by using a Dawn Stone. Kirlia can also be evolved into a Gardevoir once it reaches Level 30, and Kirlia is evolved from a Ralts once it reaches Level 20.

Gallade enjoys eating Springy Mushrooms, Dazzling Honey, Hearty Grains, and Plump Beans. In addition to berries, Gallade can be diverted or fed with these items, enabling it to be caught or fought without the player being seen.

The player receives a Seed of Mastery and an Exp Candy L when a Gallade is caught or defeated in the wild.

Location

To find a Gallade, the player can only go to this area:

In the Alabaster Icelands: inside Snowpoint Temple.

It is important to mention that the Gallade that can be found in this location is an Alpha Pokemon. The Alpha Gallade that can be found here is a Level 70 Pokemon and can be encountered in this area at all times of the day and in every weather condition.

In addition, there is a chance that the player can encounter a group of Gallades in Massive Mass Outbreaks in the Alabaster Icelands.

Research Tasks

The following are the Research Tasks in Gallade’s Pokedex entry:

Multiplier Research Task Objectives
x2 Number caught 1/2/4/6/10
x2 Number of alpha specimens caught 1/2/3
Number defeated 1/2/3/4/5
Number you have defeated with Ghost-type moves 1/2/3/4/5
Times you have seen it use Swords Dance 1/3/6/12/25
x2 Times you have seen it use Close Combat 1/3/8/20/40
Times you have seen it use an agile style move 1/3/10/30/70
Times you have stunned it by using items 1/2/3/4/5

Two Research Levels are obtained by a Research Task objective with an x2 multiplier, while only one Research Level is obtained by a Research Task objective without a multiplier. A Pokemon’s Pokedex entry must reach Research Level 10 to be considered finished.

The player will acquire Research Points by finishing Research Task objectives and Pokedex entries. If a player earns enough Research Points, their Star Rank in the Galaxy Team will increase.

To quickly complete Gallade’s Pokedex entry, the player can catch the Alpha Gallade in the Alabaster Icelands, then use it in the battle to use Close Combat in agile style three times. Doing all these will tick the first objective of the “Number caught” Research Task to gain two Research Levels thanks to its x2 multiplier, fulfill the first objective of the “Number of alpha specimens caught” Research Task to gain two Research Levels also thanks to its x2 multiplier, tick the first and second objective of the “Times you have seen it use Close Combat” Research Task to get four Research Levels also thanks to its x2 multiplier, and tick the first and second objective of the “Times you have seen it use an agile style move” Research Task to obtain two more Research Levels to reach Research Level 10 ultimately.
