Pokémon Scarlet and Violet pocket monsters are coming to Pokémon Go in September 2023.

Announced during the August Pokémon Presents event, very little was said about the new set of Pokémon, but this update will at least bring the likes of Fuecoco, Sprigatito, and Quaxly to the mobile game.
