An Xbox first-party game probably wasn’t on your bingo card for the first reported title arriving on Switch 2. But here we are, as apparently Hi-Fi Rush is targeting a release on Nintendo’s next console.
According to Insider-Gaming, Microsoft is looking to launch Hi-Fi Rush on Switch 2. Earlier this month, it seemed like the action game from Bethesda would get a Switch port after leaking in a bizarre way. But that might not happen now. For instance, Hi-Fi Rush was confirmed for PS5 yesterday, but not Switch. GameSpot has reached out to ZeniMax for comment.
It was one of four Xbox games revealed to officially be going multiplatform. Microsoft is bringing Pentiment and Grounded to Switch, while PlayStation is getting both of those along with Sea of Thieves on PS5. Pentiment and Grounded were revealed at yesterday’s Nintendo Direct, in addition to five classic Rare games arriving on Switch for online membership subscribers.
