Arcade1Up has announced a new cabinet, and for X-Men fans, this could be the piece of retro-but-modern gaming hardware to keep an eye on. In collaboration with Disney, the X-Men ’97 arcade cabinet comes loaded with eight Marvel games inside of a nostalgic frame.
Like the other units from Arcade1Up, this cabinet looks like it came straight out of the ’90s as it sports decals and images reminiscent of that era. This cabinet uses the sharp and colorful designs of the upcoming X-Men ’97 animated series, and on the sides you’ll spot characters like Cyclops, Wolverine, Gambit, Rogue, and many more. Internally, there are some terrific fighting and action games. It includes the following classics:

That’s a pretty good bundle if you’re a fan of classic fighting games, and fittingly, this cabinet comes with Wi-Fi functionality for online play around the world with other owners of this unit. It also comes with a light-up marquee, a 17-inch display, a two-player control deck, and 3D faux coin doors for that extra arcade touch.
