Players will get their hands on PS Plus Extra, Premium August 2025 games next Tuesday, two of which come with free DLC on the PS Store. Members don’t need to wait until the 19th to claim the freebies, so we’re here with a handy list to get you started.

Headlining this month’s new additions is Mortal Kombat 1. Its free add-on is called the 4K Cinematic Pack, which does exactly what the title states: render cinematics at 4K resolution. “Experience Mortal Kombat’s 1’s cinematic story mode brought to life in breathtaking detail at 4K resolution,” reads an official description. “Feel every gory fatality and soul-crushing fatal blow like never before!”

Then, we have Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key. The game has two free DLC packs on the PS Store. The Atelier Series Legacy BGM Pack adds over 1,000 tracks from older Atelier games.

The second DLC pack is called Additional Area ‘Ashra-am Baird Outlying Areas.’ The pack adds a new exploration area and World Quests in the outlying region of Ashra-am Baird. Players need to complete the main quest “Riding on the Dragon Vein” to access the area.
